Aiseesoft FoneLab gives you fast and reliable recovery options for your iOS devices allowing you to recover any lost or deleted media files, contacts, messages, and memos in just a few moments. It's a light and quite useful app to have. The only downside is that you cannot test it properly unless you purchase it.

Pros

Straightforward interface: This software gives you a well-designed and easy-to-navigate interface. Its recovery features are listed on the left, and the icons are easy to understand. As soon as you install the app you'll be prompted to download the latest iTunes version if you don't already have it installed. If you purchased and registered this software, you'll be prompted to connect your iOS device using a USB cable.

Three different recovery features: Aiseesoft FoneLab offers three different file recovery features -- file recovery directly from your iOS device, from iTunes backup, and from the iCloud backup file. For iOS devices, you can start the scanning process as soon as you authorize your computer, which took less than a minute on both our iPhone and iPad used for testing. Once done scanning, this app lets you recover any deleted media files, messages and contacts, notes, reminders, bookmarks, call history, and more in just a few moments. Using the checkboxes you can select which types of files you want to recover.

Recovers WhatsApp messages and attachments: Apart from supporting a wide range of file type recovery options, this version of Aiseesoft FoneLab also allows you to recover any lost WhatsApp messages and file attachments.

Cons

Main feature disabled in the trial version: Even though you can try out this software free of charge for 15 days, its main feature (file recovery) is disabled, making the trial version almost useless.

Aiseesoft FoneLab proves to be a light, fast, and easy-to-use solution if you need to recover deleted files and data from your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, as well as from your iCloud and iTunes backups. It's not free, but if you need this type of software, then this one is well worth the price.

I purchased this software hoping it would solve my problem. It didn't work at all as advertised. I contacted the company for a refund 24 hours after download. They refused immediately without explanation. After a few more emails, they admitted they knew the software version available for purchase had bugs and still they allowed people to spend $80 to download it. They sent me another version. It too had bugs. After spending over 15 hours trying to make this work, and not succeeding, they still refused any refund.

DO NOT BUY ANY SOFTWARE FROM THIS COMPANY, mycommerce.com or aiseesoft.com. TERRIBLE COMPANY, TERRIBLE PRODUCT and AMAZING THERE IS NO REFUND FOR A BAD PRODUCT.

Don't buy any product from #aiseesoft #aiseesoftstudio. They did not refund your money even the program does not work properly or no solution to the model of your phone. Their trial version is just a trick to make you buy a pro version. Whenever you try to start the trial, the windows open and push you to register your product. Next day when I bought the product I asked refund due to they do not has any solution for Sony Xperia E5, even the program did not recognize my phone, they refused my request for a refund. You can find other programs which give you money guaranty. Been using Fonelab for years without any problem. I usually use it to back up files to my computer, it's very convenient. And the latest upgrade will fix the problem of iCloud backup with my iOS 9.

The free trial allow you to scan you phone for deleted files (in my case deleted "notes" for an iPhone). They tell you before you scan that with the free trial you will only be able to see the first two-three lines of your file to prove they can recover it. At completion of the scan they are correct, I can see the title of my file and the first line of the notes involved. However, when you purchase the registered program, which you must do to actually recover your deleted files, those two lines are still all you get. You do not receive any further details of the deleted items you are trying to retrieve. When you click the recovered links you are directed to a google chrome file with again no further information.
Summary
The clincher: you are them prompted for a free download to transfer iOS to transfer the recovered files as if this will provided the missing detail you are hoping for, only to be directed to another free trial that has limitations. Limitations that allow you to only view what you could "potentially" do outside of the trial version when/if you buy registered download. Overall this software is very misleading and advertises false information in order to get you to purchase more and more registered products with no recourse for the consumer. Not a great way to conduct business.

I purchased this software but accidentally purchased the PC version and then had to pay again for the MAC serial code. After running the software, I was prompted to buy another program just to get the files back on the phone and that program cost twice as much. Can you say SCAM?!?!?! I ran both programs and found that all of the recovered files were screwed up and jumbled. Nothing made sense. I attempted to contact the company by the ONE email address they have. Note that their website says 24/7 support and 90 days money back. The company responded but denied my request for a refund because they stated it was clear on their website that the program was for 'recovery' only. Ridiculous. They also refused to refund the accidental purchase of a PC code. I took a screenshot of their website showing they offer 24/7 support and 90 days money back and sent it to their email and demanded a refund. The company has yet to respond to multiple email and has cut off communication completely. I had to dispute charges with my credit card company and now here i am informing the world of this companies horrendous customer service and fake software solutions. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR $$$$

It saves me lot. My Iphone is broken, and fails to start, only several clicks, I get back all the important customer contacts, thanks God, also find the lost photos with my friends, how wonderful.

Can recover SOME of your deleted photos in thumbnail resolution though Can recover SOME of your deleted notes, contacts etc.
Cons
The program has a hidden limit of 6 devices per licence which is not mentioned anywhere on their website. When contacted they proposed I should buy the no-limit edition (nowhere to be found on their site) for the discounted price of $327.24!!! This can be compared to a scam.

The software does what any experienced user can do in a convenient way. Untrustworthy company. Stay away if you need to recover more than 6 devices.

With Fonelab, I can find and recover my notes accidently deleted by my wife. This is a good option for you to restore data from a device or iTunes backup files.

By far the best iPad data recovery software I've used. With this app, I was able to regain all of my deleted Contacts, more than 150 Messages and Reminder from my iPad mini. Thanks a lot.
